Edexcel Forces and their Effects
In this section we look at how objects interact through forces, both contact and non-contact.
Choose your topic:
- Scalars and Vectors [FREE] - These quantities both have a size, but vectors also have a direction
- Forces [FREE] - Something that acts on an object due to its interaction with another object
- Resultant Force [FREE] - This is the overall force that acts on an object
- Free Body Diagrams - These allow us to clearly see all the forces acting on an object
- Resolving and Adding Forces - Graphically (and mathematically - but you don't need to know this)
- Moments - The turning effect of a force
- Gears - These transmit the rotational effect of a force
